The Caterpillar 430D is part of the high performance D series machines of Caterpillar. The 430D boasts of 94 horsepower compared to its predecessor 420 D which operates with a maximum power of 85HP.

The 430D can dig up to a depth of 15 feet but you can use an extendible stick to excavate up to 19 feet. The D series also operates on a hydraulic coupler which enables versatility when it comes to tool changing.

Like the 416c, 420d, and other Caterpillar backhoes, the 430D is operated using integrated tool carrier controls which makes every movement very smooth. The operator will handle excavator like joysticks which are ergonomically designed for comfort.

The D series including 430 D has a greater degree of bucket rotation at 205. This enables the backhoe to dig vertical walls or clamp loads when moving them onto a truck.

The hydraulic system and the engine works in tandem to ensure that the tools used by the operator has enough power and speed to do the job no matter how slow or fast the engine is running.

The 430D backhoe will give you a picture of a fuel efficient machine, quiet operations, less stress to the operator, and decreased wear on the engine.
